What to know about BNB Smart Chain
Most BSC stablecoins use 18 decimals
USDT and USDC on BSC are Binance-issued pegged tokens with 18 decimals, not the 6 used on Ethereum and TRON. Always read decimals from the payload instead of hard-coding it.
One address, many EVM networks
A 0x address is valid on BSC, Ethereum, Polygon and every other EVM network. Funds sent on the wrong network still arrive at the same address, but you need a webhook on each network you want to watch.
Push, not polling
At sub-second block times, polling BscScan or a public RPC for each address quickly runs into rate limits, and eth_getLogs ranges have to be paged carefully so no block is skipped. Chainhook scans every block once, waits 15 confirmations, and pushes only the transfers that match your addresses.

Is BEP-20 the same as ERC-20?
BEP-20 is the same token interface as ERC-20, deployed on BNB Smart Chain. The address format and Transfer event are identical, but the token contracts, and often the decimals, are different.
