# Chainhook > Chainhook: webhooks for blockchain transfers. Chainhook watches the addresses you choose and sends your endpoint a signed JSON event for each confirmed transfer of a supported coin or token. It never holds funds or private keys. Chainhook is a webhook service for on-chain transfers. Create a webhook for an address on a supported network, and Chainhook delivers a signed HTTP POST (HMAC-SHA256) to your endpoint once a matching transfer reaches the network's confirmation depth, with automatic retries and replay. No nodes to run and no blocks to poll. ## Documentation - [API reference](https://chainhook.io/docs/api): REST endpoints for managing webhooks and inspecting deliveries, the webhook payload, and signature verification. - [Full API reference](https://chainhook.io/llms-full.txt): The complete API reference in one plain-text file, for AI agents. ## API - Base URL: https://api.chainhook.io/v1 - Authentication: Bearer token in the `Authorization` header. Create a key in the dashboard under API keys, with full access or only the permissions it needs. - Rate limit: 120 requests per minute. - MCP server for blockchain webhooks: https://mcp.chainhook.io/mcp (streamable HTTP). AI agents and assistants can create and manage address webhooks. Clients that support OAuth sign in with just this URL; other clients send an API key as a bearer token. ## Supported networks Coins and tokens detected on each network, and the confirmations a transfer needs before it's delivered: - Ethereum (`ethereum`): ETH, USDT, USDC, BUSD, DAI, WETH, WBTC, LINK, UNI, SHIB, PEPE; 12 confirmations - BNB Smart Chain (`bsc`): USDT, USDC, BUSD, DAI, WBNB, Cake, ETH, BTCB; 15 confirmations - Polygon (`polygon`): USDT, USDC, DAI, WETH, WPOL, WBTC; 64 confirmations - Arbitrum One (`arbitrum`): USDT, USDC, DAI, WETH, ARB, WBTC; 20 confirmations - OP Mainnet (`optimism`): USDT, USDC, DAI, WETH, OP, WBTC; 20 confirmations - Base (`base`): USDC, DAI, WETH, cbBTC; 20 confirmations - Avalanche C-Chain (`avalanche`): USDT, USDC, DAI.e, WAVAX, WETH.e, WBTC.e; 20 confirmations - TRON (`tron`): USDT, USDC, WTRX, JST; 19 confirmations - Bitcoin (`bitcoin`): BTC; 6 confirmations ## Pricing Plans billed monthly or yearly, priced in USD plus applicable tax: - Pay as you go (`free`): $0/month. 100 trial detections for 1 month. 3 active webhooks. $0.001 per detection after the trial. - Starter (`starter`): $9/month or $90/year. 25,000 detections a month. 25 active webhooks. $0.0006 per extra detection. - Growth (`growth`): $29/month or $290/year. 100,000 detections a month. 100 active webhooks. $0.0003 per extra detection. - Scale (`scale`): $99/month or $990/year. 400,000 detections a month. 200 active webhooks. $0.0002 per extra detection. - A detection is one transfer matched by one of your webhooks, counted once against your plan's monthly allowance whether or not your endpoint accepts it. A transfer that matches three webhooks is three detections. Retries and replays are free. - Pay as you go has no monthly fee and includes 100 trial detections for 1 month after sign-up, then each detection is paid from prepaid credit at $0.001. While detection is paused, active webhooks are suspended, and transfers in that time aren't detected or delivered. - Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, and yearly billing costs less. Every allowance resets monthly, yearly plans included. Extra detections are billed at the plan's overage rate right after each monthly period ends. An optional monthly overage cap pauses detection at the cap until the next period. - Only active webhooks count toward a plan's webhook limit. Paused and suspended webhooks don't. - Upgrades apply immediately with a prorated charge. Downgrades and cancellations apply at the end of the billing period. There are no refunds for partial periods. ## Use cases - Payment gateways and checkouts that confirm a customer has paid. - Exchanges, wallets, and games that credit user deposits. - Treasury and accounting tools that record movements on company wallets. - Alerts and automations that react to activity on a public address. ## Optional - [About](https://chainhook.io/about): What Chainhook is and how it runs. - [Contact](https://chainhook.io/contact): Support by email. - [Terms of service](https://chainhook.io/terms) - [Privacy policy](https://chainhook.io/privacy) - [Refund policy](https://chainhook.io/refunds)
